About Rumah Energi
Yayasan Rumah Energi (YRE or Rumah Energi) was established on 19 November 2012 within the framework of the Indonesia Domestic Biogas Programme. The purpose of the establishment of Rumah Energi is to ensure the continued and sustained development of the biogas sector in Indonesia.
With this mandate, Rumah Energi as an independent entity, will engage also in various other projects or program in line with the organization vision which is contributing to Indonesia resiliency on food and energy, through working together with communities enhancing knowledge and innovation on renewable energy and sustainable farming.
Rumah Energy is continuously building organization culture to form organization identity, based on values that is embedded in organization SOP and Organization Rules, these values ; innovation, transparency, green and financial sustainability will be seen in everyday Rumah Energi practices.
The current ongoing mission is implementing the BIRU (Biogas Rumah) programme, aim to create a market based biogas sector in Indonesia. This program operating in 10 provinces, which becoming Rumah Energi home based for other program implementation and business operation.
Adhering to the the organization aim and mission, Yayasan Rumah Energi is now looking for a dynamic, passionate person aligned with the organization values , to fill the following position:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (ED) JAKARTA
The Executive Director is responsible for making major strategic decisions, oversee the over all operations and resources management of Rumah Energi, and acting as the main point of communication between the Board and management.
The position also encompasses the leadership and overall responsibility of executing the organization mission, business plan, oversee a robust fundraising strategy, financial management; compliance and internal controls, enhancing staff capacity, safety and security as well as the representation of the organization.
S/he will have the following specific tasks:
a. Provide full-time leadership and supervision to Rumah Energy managers and Directors, to ensure Rumah Energi operation lead into a strong, independent and professional organization aimed at improving food and energy resiliency in Indonesia with strong values;
i. Ensure that the foundation meets all requirements as stated in the articles of association, allowing all board members to have their say;
ii. Lead fundraising activities to make the foundation financially sustainable and independent;
iii. Develop complete operating guidelines for the foundation;
iv. Develop an efficient organization structure and task division, allowing the organization to systematically meet project demands and obligations, including working with partners, initiating, implementing and finalizing projects and programs, reporting, donor liaison and M&E;
v. Lead the business plans and oversee business operation of Rumah Energi
b. Represent the organization in stakeholder networks, meetings and events, promoting the organization in a way it enhances the good reputation of the organization and the trust of potential and current donors, government and stakeholders;
c. To have Rumah Energi engage in project and programme activities in a professional and accountable way, ensuring that the foundation is financially and managerially transparent and accountable to donors and other stakeholders.
• Minimum education background is master’s degree in development, preferably in fields of inclusive business that involve renewable energy and/or sustainable farming
• Has previous experiences as managers/director or/and has worked in Non-Government Organization(s) for at least 10 years.
• Practical knowledge in human resources management and a solid understanding of financial and budget management.
• Practical knowledge in program management/program cycle.
• Possess knowledge and practical experience in organizational development
• Have an exposure in business development
• Proven fundraising experiences.
• Has previous experience leading the review and reformulation of strategic plans and proven abilities in decision-making and problem-solving
