The residents of Salut village, NTB face the problem of water scarcity, especially during the dry season. This has an impact on the farming patterns of the farmers there, especially with the main livelihood being farming. Therefore, Rumah Energi through innovations in climate adaptation agriculture or climate-smart agriculture (CSA) makes a breakthrough to be able to help farmers adapt to climate change.

The project to make a permanent water storage tank or commonly called a Water Harvesting Tank and Drip Irrigation Project, running under the ASA-Lombok program, is an effective solution to overcome the drought problem in Salut village. Water Harvesting Tank with a capacity of 10,000 litres is used by each head of the household for sanitation needs and irrigating 142 biogas units. Whereas the drip irrigation method is used by 25 farmers, which is by punching holes in used mineral water as big as a pinhole so that it makes it easier for liquid bio-slurry to soak into the soil.
