The crisp morning air of the tennis court, the rhythmic bounce of the ball, and the cheerful laughter of participants filled the atmosphere—this was the scene on August 9, 2025, at Yogyakarta State University. But that day, tennis was not just about who won or lost. The court became a space to share a message far greater than the game itself: our planet.

Beyond the Tennis for Environment was born from the belief that sports can be a bridge to inspire people to care for the environment. In collaboration with Kitabisa.com and Salingjaga, Rumah Energi hosted a tournament that blended competition, education, and real action. Beyond the matches, participants were introduced to renewable energy and simple steps to reduce their carbon footprint.

This tournament was not merely about the sport, the victory, or the medals. More importantly, every player’s participation was a tangible contribution to promoting clean energy and sustainability.

The event was part of Rumah Energi’s Indonesia Berdaya campaign, a movement to empower communities to be energy-independent while protecting their natural resources. On that court, we learned that cross-sector collaboration can make environmental messages both meaningful and enjoyable.

Because in the end, the greatest victory is not the score on the board—it’s the future we win together.
